My eldest daughter, who is now twenty-five years old, had an extensive collection of Fisher Price toys. With great fondness, I remember all the times she and I would sit on the ground together and play with her “Main Street”, “School House” and “Airplane”. Like her, I was fascinated with the unique faces and personalities of each one of the “little people.” I enjoyed painting a loving portrait of these little people on a human scale, treasuring the differences and similarities of each one.
