Congratulations to Laura Ball on her addition to the Denver Art Museum permanent collection

The Gathering by Laura Ball

The Gathering by Laura Ball for LittleCollector

One of the great thing about this job is being able to celebrate and promote the exhibitions, publications, and successes of the artists we represent. So we're very excited to announce that a selection of work by LittleCollector artist Laura Ball has been gifted to the Denver Art Museum by the Eleanor and Henry Hitchcock Charitable Foundation. The two pieces, Collection 1 and Zanesville Mandala join a permanent collection of over 7,000 works of art. In addition to her limited edition print The Gathering, above, Ball is represented by the David B. Smith Gallery in Denver and Morgan Lehman gallery in New York.

About her painting The Gathering Ball says, "In mythology, the 'Tree of Life' is a magical and powerful icon that represents the center of the world. This is the source of energy that propels the cycle of life, of seasons and of growth in the world. Animals represent guides or guardians that assist one on the journey through life."
