Fall Art Activities for Kids

Now that fall is in the air, we're starting to think about all the wonderful fall art projects that the season presents (yes, that means making lots of art with leaves!). First up is a very lovely and simple leaf print that makes a super cute fall decoration (thanks to kleas blog for the inspiration and images). Simply fill a dish with puddles of different color tempera paint then lay a large, dry leaf in it  - make sure you pick a leaf with sturdy veins; maple leaves are also lovely and a classic fall shape - and press onto sturdy art paper. Make sure to press all the way down around the leaf. For older kids, make a whole bunch of leaves and cut them out once they're dry to make a bouquet or fall wreath for the door...
