This post is brought to you by the letter B! We're going behind the scenes of 'B is for Baker' today to bring you the original video featuring Chundo as the Baker that was first aired on Sesame Street in 1996. We love this adorable segment and Chundo's enthusiasm in the kitchen as he makes a sweet baked confection for his baby. In the photograph, the cake was actually baked by Wegman's sister Pam and decorated by Chundo himself. Enjoy!
Have you checked out our incredible giveaway yet for a first edition B is for Baker? This brand new release on LittleCollector comes to you courtesy of acclaimed American photographer William Wegman whose work has been exhibited internationally, and who we've been dreaming of having on the site for a long time. We couldn't be more excited about this amazing collaboration!
Here is William's introduction to the edition: " B is for Baker, inspired by the nursery rhyme "Pat-a-Cake," features Chundo, Fay's number one son and the go to guy for most of my leading man characters in the 90's. He was named after a giant of a man I met on a trip to the south of Chile in 1989. Chundo's willingness and grand sincerity and overall largeness made him a wonderful actor and model.
In B is for Baker, the set was simple, the costume appropriate. The cake was provided by my sister Pam and decorated by Chundo himself."

We love photographer William Wegman (2013 Puppy Calendar anyone?!) and, having had the chance to visit his wonderful New York studio, we're always fascinated by his process. This video gives great insight into his working process and the wonderful characters of Faye and her brood. If you're interested in why and how photography this is a video not to be missed.
We love the gifts that are really personalized for the holidays, whether it's an embossed set of glasses or a monogrammed throw. And what better gift to give a child than their name or initials for the holidays?! LittleCollector is pleased to offer two alphabet collections from Trey Speegle (who has collaborated with Anthropologie and Stella McCarney among others) and John Nickle, whose Alphabet Explosion was published as a book. And if you're stuck for idea, PEACE, JOY and LOVE always capture the spirit of the season.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us in Miami at the NADA fair. We had a wonderful time at Art Basel and met so many wonderful people! The LittleCollector booth got lots of attention (and lots of friends stopped by including Trey Speegle, below) and our just-for-kids tours were a big success. We'll be bringing you more pics as we settle back in the office and check your inboxes this weekfor more holiday ideas and promos to give the perfect, personal gift this december!

We're very excited to announce that we will be in MIAMI exhibiting for the first time at NADA Miami Beach. In addition to hosting a LittleCollector booth, we'll be giving our popular just-for-kids tours of the fair. Kids will accompany LittleCollector educators around the fair and will have the chance to meet artists and gallerists and get up close and personal with the work! We will use all five senses to explore art in many different media and kids can take home a LittleCollector backpack and activity guide. Tours are completely free and open to kids 5+. Parents are welcome to tour the fair while the kids are with the group but they must be picked up promptly at 1:45.
Tour Times:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday. 1pm. Meet in the LittleCollector booth.
LittleCollector staffers Annie and Grace stopped by the Kate Spade store in Soho last night for a fun holiday shopping event. We also checked out the super fun photo booth where we had the chance to dress up in tons of Kate Spade winter gear and make our own animated gif! Check out the pics here and the gifs online! We think we just found the inspiration for our holiday card!
Don't forget to buy your tickets for our Holiday Gingerbread Extravaganza on December 15th at Nespresso Soho! Kids and parents will have the chance to meet and mingle with our very favorite design families The Novogratz! Cortney and Bob will be on hand signing copies of their new book Home by Novogratz and (since we have a copy in the office) it's quickly becoming one of our favorites!
