Darlene Charneco

Since childhood, Darlene Charneco's endless curiosity about life's mysteries fueled an obsession with reading, learning and looking. Balancing inquiries into physics, biology, technology and evolution with quiet meditation and observation, she creates artworks expressing the combination of concepts, visions and feelings that arise. Her work has been exhibited throughout the US at venues including the Katonah Museum, the Hunterdon Museum, The Islip Art Museum and Parrish Art Museum and is featured in the book 'The Map as Art: Contemporary Artists Explore Cartography' by Katherine Harmon 2009. She lives and works on the east end of Long Island.
